Helping CARAD support asylum seekers, refugees, and detainees through better information technology

CARAD IT update

In 2021, City Rotary overhauled CARAD’s IT system. This enabled CARAD staff and volunteers to work more efficiently and effectively to do what they do best – support asylum seekers, refugees and detainees.

Using his professional skills and networks, a City Rotarian assembled a small team to work directly with CARAD to design, obtain funding for, and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive tailored IT system.

Our successes

  • Delivered a comprehensive new IT system to CARAD supported by a successful LotteryWest grant application
