Topic: Meet Sacha and Learn about the Life Changing Youth Exchange Program

Sacha is our new Rotary Youth Exchange student who arrived in Perth in July. He is 16 years of age and from Bressuire, France. While in Perth, he is attending Mount Lawley Senior High School. He is a keen tennis player and loves playing the piano. 

Sacha is looking forward to introducing himself, telling us about his life in France, and sharing his aspirations for his year in Australia.

 

We will also hear from past and present host parents who will share their experiences of inviting a Rotary Youth Exchange student into their lives.

The Rotary Youth Exchange program offers students aged 15 to 19 years a unique opportunity to become global citizens, fostering peace and cultural understanding through their international experience.

Participants spend an academic year in their exchange country, attend a local school, and live with multiple host families. The program helps students unlock their true potential, developing life-long leadership skills, learning the language and culture of their host country, and building lasting friendships with young people from around the world.
