Emplace
The Emplace Initiative.
Business building homes for people experiencing homelessness.
Inability to access housing keeps many West Australians trapped in homelessness, with over 1000 sleeping rough on our streets and another 9000 homeless people at risk in precarious accommodation. In response, City Rotary, through The Emplace Initiative, is creating a catalyst that encourages business to increase housing supply for people experiencing homelessness, based on the proven ‘Housing First’ model.

Emplace was launched at the City Rotary Corporate Connect Event with Adrian Fini on 21 April 2021.
The Emplace Initiative is now focusing on implementation support for “My Home” sites (especially philanthropic funding) and development of models for mixed use residential developments, attractive to developers, which incorporate housing for people experiencing homelessness.
