Friends of Warwick Bushland
Caring for the natural environment
City Rotary partners with Friends of Warwick Bushland to provide hands-on work with planting and weeding as well as exploring other opportunities.
The Friends of Warwick Bushland is a community group that cares for the 60 ha of bushland within Warwick Conservation Reserve in the City of Joondalup. They undertake activities such as biological surveys, collecting seeds, planting in degraded areas, weed control, removal of rubbish, guided walks, displays and talks, and facilitate educational activities with schools.

Being involved in the management and restoration of bushland has many benefits for personal well-being, strengthening community connections and maintaining our natural heritage. City Rotary members have an opportunity to be involved in Landcare in the City with a chance to assist, witness and learn about natural processes and the unique biodiversity of this threatened ecological community of national significance.
