White Ribbon Community Action Group Project

White Ribbon Australia is a part of a global social movement working to eliminate gendered violence. This project involves members of City Rotary partnering with White Ribbon on a number of initiatives including with the Islamic community in Perth to establish a community action group. The community action group engages in education to better understand the social issue of gendered violence, the causes and ways every individual can productively work towards “A nation where every woman is free from all forms of men’s violence and abuse”. (White Ribbon’s vision statement).
