Saving The World: One Stray At A Time

Dean Morris launched Give Our Strays A Chance (GOSAC) to support strays and wildlife in WA when he was 10 years old. Now 18, he has raised over $500,000 in donations, rescued countless animal lives, supported the homeless with their pets and helped many families all around WA. He received the Australia Day 2021 Community Citizen of the Year – Youth award in his local area, and has been awarded the RSPCA Youth State Award and the Matt Keogh BURT award, as well as being a finalist and subsequently a judge at the WA Youth Awards. He was also a finalist for the Channel 7 Young Achiever awards.

Dean has recently published “Saving The World – One Stray At A Time” with support from Bendigo Bank, about animal rescue as well as the power of youth to change the world.
