HMAS Stirling Navy base at Garden Island – also known as Fleet Base West – is Australia’s largest naval base for the RAN, and homeport for five Anzac class frigates, six Collins class submarines and a fleet replenishment vessel.
Commander Phillip Andrews is Executive Officer for HMAS Stirling. This presentation will cover his journey with the RAN from joining in 1984 through to appointment as Executive Officer at HMAS Stirling in 2022.
