Margot’s passion for the environment has shaped her career. As a chemical engineer, she has spent over 30 years pursuing opportunities good ESG management provides for Australian minerals and energy majors, including Woodside, Alcoa and Tronox. She has achieved this by taking roles in production management, R&D, innovation and environmental management. Her more recent role as CEO of The Clean Energy Marine Fuels Institute and current role as Managing Director of Natalliam have focussed on decarbonisation opportunities for major industrial sectors and their supply chains.
