Rotary Youth Exchange Student
Perth City East sponsored 18 year old Hayley on the 2024 Rotary Youth Exchange programme that took her from Kununurra to Italy. She stayed with four families who lived in Cagliari, the capital city of Sardegna, an island located to the left of mainland Italy in the Mediterranean Sea.
She experienced Italian culture and speak Italian with locals whilst studying at the local high school.
Hayley says that the away-from-home experience also taught her valuable life skills such as problem-solving, how to adapt to situations, leadership, confidence and courage.
Now returned from her Italian experience, Hayley will share this wonderful adventure at our Rotary breakfast.
